| cant blame them si some difference with them ferrets smashy..when you get their weight down to the right weight then i feed them little every day and the day before they go hunting get nothing... keeps em keen i find..but your ones seems to be doing the biz now dont they i find when a ferret is working well bolting to the dogs then its hard sport to beat... and with some of the spots that you have put up pics of think your better off with nets in them places as its hard to get good runs for the dogs in them places....going to do a bit tommorrow myself and bro so hope we have a good day out... | |

| think its good to bring her out on her own too...not messing around with the other two so she see,s whats going on with them bunnies comming out of the burrows...can remember some pics you put up a while back of some nice open ground sets...think they would be good for some bolts for them big dogs...as its harder for em to get off the mark to catch the ones from a close distance to the ditch.... anyway its amazing the difference with the ferrets aint it?!!! i fed my fella last week the night before i took him out and could see the difference in him.. even though he still worked he was slower than normal.. not much but i noticed it... think it makes a huge difference with them... am glad that you are finally getting some action with the ferreting | |

| yes mate im going to bring the little one on now with the ferrets. the big ones im happy to lamp them boys most time . as it is hard ground mate .and the open sets i normally have to poach. until the summer comes then i should have a bit more permission , come in like.anyway onward an upwards it is with the ferrets ip . cheers doing a good job now . i may invest in a locator but that means work lol .daughter will be none pleased | |

| ha ha ha ha bet she wont but a good way to get em for the pot as the ferret always has them dead by the head so body is perfect well dont think your fellas are to big at all just at a little disadvantage thats all...they should still get a few i have the mrk 3 locator and it is very good smashy and highly recommend it...takes a little getting used to but i find when putting on the collar then do it as tight as possible as it can slip the ferrets neck or put a pair of bells seperate to the collar on last to help it from not coming off...well i think the locator will double or triple your bags si.... regards IP | |
