well went out for a look at the river see if its worth joining
unsure but i might as its close at hand

does it hold a good head of fish???

yes a good trout river that mate
people pay alot of money to fly fish it like .
but ive found a club that owns a little of it
so cheaper to join their little bit .
well id get to fish what ya see .
good trout and grayling i know that not sure regards

how big of a stretch would you have?

about a mile i think mate
and im a sitter fisher i dont wade much i like
me sit down and me cups tea so plenty of spots

That sounds like a nice stretch that does si...
if your doing a bit of fly fishing then there wont be many cups of tea there to be had...

it is a decent stretch should be ok .
and i will do a little fly and a little float
i do like my sitting down fishing like
not too much hard work

and i always been a rake ,but i have a little pot belly like .
i wouldnt say i were too skinny .
oh and lots of lamping with the dogs it soon falls of ya

i must stay off the cakes then cos i have no excuses wiv the amount of lamping and walking im doing

fly fishing for your bass ip,i saw some cool sand eel flies but cant remember were

yes i have tried it sme..hard going it is though trying to cast out a long distance and strip in in fast...i was using a floating bobber type sandeel imatation...not much luck though on the once i tried it..did miss one but was alot of work for the result
